The return of Charlie, my beloved male cat, the son of Citamuna the manis to the almighty Creator.
Today on the 6th August 2010 Charlie died at around 6 o’clock in the morning due to terrible disease which led him to death. I brought him to the vet clinic on Wednesday and the veterinarian said he has been infected by a virus (I can’t recall the name of the virus) that can kill cats without any sign. He also said many have sent in their cats with the same disease these past few days. Only 20% will survived. Small percentage. I know. That would certainly makes me ready to face any possibility. Poor Charlie. Last night when I saw him suffering I just said “It’s okay Charlie if you wanna leave me now. Saya redha. And please send my regards to your mom Citamuna”. (Citamuna died on the eve of Syawal last year which made me ‘kacau’ rendang in tears).
This is a story of how I love my cats so much.
I love you Charlie. Always. You are the most handsome cat I owned. Mak said “Charlie is abah’s cat. And Charlie died after 8 months ‘tuan dia pergi’ ”. Yes. Abah used to secretly feed Charlie under the table in his room.
And now both are gone.
